Founder Puneet Sira is an award-winning director of feature films including the cult classic I – Proud to be an Indian, and the critically acclaimed Kisaan and Jai Veeru. He’s directed Virat Kohli’s Superhero animation series Super V for Disney+ Hotstar which garnered nearly 200 million viewers and ranked as India’s topmost in the animation bracket Puneet was the Channel Head for Star TV’s Channel [V] during which he created and executive produced over twenty-five television series resulting in profitability for Channel [V] for the first time since it started. Puneet’s known throughout the industry for delivering impactful film, television and digital content. His vast experience from lead actor in the Hollywood film Arabian Adventure to film director in Bollywood, took him through his work at BBC Films in the UK. He’s directed and produced many hours of drama television for Star TV.
As Development and Creative Head at The Foundry, Puneet’s curating and developing fresh stories and genres that are contemporary to Indian content. Under his meticulous guidance, he’s growing the slate of authentically entertaining feature films and digital series for The Foundry. He oversees a team of creative experts, all working towards creating platform-native content and cinematic experiences. Described as focused and a futurist, Puneet’s distinctive leadership style has embarked the company on a strategy that will lead to profitable transformations in his areas of influence. Armed with superior and bountiful feature film and digital content projects under his development, he’s has been aggressively positioning the company as a new generation global media production company.

Vikram Dhillon is a successful filmmaker and producer. He was nominated as best director for his box office hit feature film Pinky Moge Wali. His progressive experience in his broad entertainment career has given him a unique perspective as a former Channel [V] VJ through to his production and direction of programs for Star India, B4U, Geo TV Network and others. He’s produced programs Sanatta and Jataka Tales for Japanese television. He’s produced and directed multiple commercials including Idea Cellular. He brought his own directorial stamp in popularly received music videos which he produced for T-Series and Saga Music. Vikram’s forged strong relationships with top OTT platforms and studios while positioning the company across the domestic and international film, TV, and digital entertainment arenas.
As Head of Business and Production, Vikram provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and talent systems in place to effectively grow the content and film studio and to ensure financial strength. His focussed approach has enabled him become a strong business catalyst with pioneering achievements and breakthroughs. Vikram Dhillon expertly shares his talents and spirited energy overseeing the company as a new generation studio global and domestic film, linear, audio and digital entertainment.

Series Creator and Screenwriter, Vekeana Dhillon has five international feature films releases including Sohail Khan Productions award-winning Kisaan and cult classic I – Proud to be an Indian. She’s written Virat Kohli’s superhero animation series Super V for Disney+Hotstar. She created English and Hindi series Uncovidable for Amazon’s Audible. She’s a playwright for Wizcraft International’s Musical, Balle Balle. Once a Star India Channel [V] VJ, she’s also presented for BBC World Radio and BBC Asian News Network. She’s acknowledged as one of Telefilm Canada’s Premiere Writers. She is also a global jury member for the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards. She was nominated for The Women’s International Film & Television Showcase Foundation Jury Award which recognizes dedication to craft.
As Content Head, Vekeana is the prolific IP Creator generating compelling stories that make up the vast and original content that aligns and expands The Foundry’s catalogue. Making IP travel along the “glocal” route, where stories thrive in the scope of international awareness with a localized tangent and as potential superformats. Her work is focused on aligning the overarching creative strategy with the demands of different audiences on different platforms. Her deep well of experience in the entertainment landscape, coupled with her intense drive to continually create captivating content, gives The Foundry a distinct advantage to provide locally and scale globally across film and digital entertainment formats.
